D'oh!

Went and saw the Simpson’s movie. This is not another review. I want to rant about the audience. Right, I see the problem, I was part of said audience, but hear me out.

I have a friend who loves all things Simpson. He has all the collectables. They fill the basement and overflow into the living room. This friend of mine, he’s a smart guy, a good guy…he’s also a movie talker and after being part of a Simpson’s movie audience, I think I found a trend. Simpson fans – the hardcore ones anyway – like to blab obnoxiously during movies.

I’m not talking about low whispers, or hell, even loud whispers. I’m talking about the volume you use to talk on the phone when you have a bad connection. And it wasn’t just one guy. There were several kicked-in-the-head-by-a-horse-when-I-was-ten-assholes commenting throughout the entire movie. For the love of God, at least say something interesting or funny if you’re going to torture your captive audience. My Simpson fan friend would have had something intelligent to say to compensate for his annoying gabbing. What the hell is wrong with the rest of the Simpson fanatics?
