Church Backs Out of Funeral for Gay Man

It's such a dissapointment to me to see such hatred justified by Christians today. High Point Church fashions God in the image of their bigotry and ignorance, then uses Him to justify the hate they spread with a smile on their face and fear of homosexuality growing like cancer in their soul. Their hypocrisy is an embarrassment to Christians who follow Jesus’ teachings.

They are akin to the 19th century Christians who justified slavery, saying it was sanctified by the bible (using Genesis 9:25-27 to back them up). ReligiousTolerance.org has for further information on this topic.

Jesus was about loving your neighbor not about turning your back on them in their hour of need out of so called “principle.” High Point Church, whatever happened to “the GREATEST of these is LOVE”?
